The Marionberry was developed at Oregon State University in 1945 by crossing a Chehalem blackberry with a Olallieberry (itself a blackberry cross). The Marionberry was named after Marion County in Oregon. You'll enjoy the wonderful taste of our "homestyle jam" which has been made in small batches by Carol and Bud Moon.
