Our set of 4 cork backed trivets features Thunderbird, a strong symbol for the Coast Salish people of the Northwest coast. The design is by Terry Horne. Born in 1982, Terry was mentored by his father, master carver Francis Horne Sr. and brother Francis Horne Jr. who instilled cultural heritage, traditions and artistic understanding. At the young age of 16, Terry began introducing his work publicly.
