Over sixty years ago, Washington state pharmacist Margaret Harrison developed a protective hand cream for scientists working in research laboratories. Because it contains so much lanolin, a naturally produced by-product of wool, the cream is called Wool Wax Creme. It helps to counteract chapping, roughness, cracking and dry skin problems.
