Raven, the main mythological character of the Northwest Coast, is portrayed here with the Sun in its beak. Many native stories focus on the relationship between Raven and the Sun. Raven, the Trickster, is often credited with the creation of light. Our handcrafted rosewood-colored trivet is made from recycled glass and is heat resistant to 340F/170C. This piece can be wall mounted or used as a trivet on the table.
